Bev Blitzer is an artist and potter based in Islamorada, Florida. She works primarily with porcelain, getting inspiration from the islands’ history and beautiful waterfront scenery that she calls home.
Bev was inspired at an early age by her sculptor father and has always created art in different forms; painting, drawing, ceramics and more. From raising a family and teaching in Rhode Island to retiring and thriving in Florida, Bev is busy creating, inventing and learning every day. Bev’s work has been featured at the Florida Keys History and Discovery Museum, Jessica Ann Gallery, Morada Clay and most recently a special feature at the Elena Madden Studio Gallery in Islamorada.
